Inspection and Testing
Every electrical installation should be periodically inspected and tested and a report on its condition obtained. Depending on the type of property & the age of the installation, the frequency between tests will vary. If the property is of a commercial nature where people are employed, the electricity at work regulations 1989 come into force which states that the installation must be tested for safety.
